Jo Parkinson

Jo has over 30 years’ experience working in the health and charity sectors, much at Director level.   She is a qualified NLP Practitioner and Coach as well as an MBTI Practitioner.  She was the local Organisation Development lead in the NHS working in Hampshire.   The majority of her work has been to organise and design training and development for people in all areas of the medical sector, having been Director of Education at the Royal Society of Medicine for 14 years. Jo’s work has included mentoring and coaching at all levels.

Jo has an MA in Higher and Professional Education with her area of interest being life-long learning and self-directed learning.   These elements chine beautifully with the principles of NLP.

These days Jo has developed a further specialism: caring for carers – supporting those of us whose lives are overtaken by caring for another person.  Jo understands the time, effort and energy needed in these roles and facilitates carers to develop the personal resources needed to look after themselves as well as the person they care for.

Jo’s style of coaching is supportive, kind and empathetic, working with an inner strength and joy for life. Jo’s coaching is solution-focused and empowering.
